What is Reiki?

The five Reiki principles :

Reiki is a universal energy, gentle, transmitted from the Universe to the recipient by placing hands on or above the body. The energy circulates throughout the body and spontaneously goes to the parts which need to be healed, relieve and revitalize the person. The energy balances the connection between body and mind.

A Reiki healing session can induce an extremely comfortable state of well-being.
Reiki creates a favorable climate to healing by working on a number of levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

But Reiki does not replace conventional medicine. Reiki is there to support and stimulate the person's natural healing abilities.

Reiki: "Rei" representing the essence of the existing source in everything and "Ki" meaning force of life. Its origin dates back thousands of years to practicing Tibetans

Dr. Mikao Usui (1865-1926) a Japanese Buddhist, rediscovered Reiki in the 1920s.
Chujiro Hayashi (1880-1940) helped to communicate Reiki in Japan and Hawayo Takata (1900-1980) then diffused it into the world.

Just for today, I will not be angry.
Just for today, I will not worry.
Just for today, I will be grateful.
Just for today, I will do my work honestly.
Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing.

Why you should receive a Reiki treatment:

Universal Reiki energy helps to reduce stress and tensions, helps you to :

  • Relax

  • Relieve and ease physical pain

  • Reduce anxiety

  • Sleep better

  • Accelerate the body's self-healing abilities

What happens during a Reiki session :

A Reiki session lasts about 1 hour. You are comfortably lying on a massage table. I put my hands on your body or above your body and soft music accompanies this moment of well-being. Your body will receive the Reiki universal energy where is needed.

After the session we exchange our feelings.

I can bring my table to your home (supplement), we can do the Reiki session at my home or at Juliette’s boutique Théra'Pierres in Cogolin.

It is recommended (but not necessary) to have 3 Reiki sessions, maximum 7-10 days in between them (more efficient).
